I have a pooper too. We are constructing a new bedroom at our house and the brand new carpet was laid yesterday. Guess what we found in the middle of the room this morning? That was less than an hour after a 20 minute walk where other various deposits were made outside. As much as it drives me nuts, I’d rather be cleaning up poop than a puddle of pee. You gotta love em.

I am laughing so hard. I guess they feel they have to make their mark on untainted surfaces. When we moved into our new house, there was a pile laid systematically in almost every room of the house over a period of about a month.
I neglected to mention the peeing. He has started this stupid routine where he doesn’t want to to out last thing at night to pee. Then when I do drag him out, he just stands there and stares at me. He’s also beein peeing in the house which just infuriates me. And, like yours, it’s always not long after we’ve been outside. Spiteful little brats. At first I wondered if he had a bladder infection, but I don’t think that’s the case. Who knows what goes on in his demented little mind.

So the schipperke boot camp you started some months back didn’t work?

The biting has stopped, which was the biggest problem. But this latest stunt is getting old. He’ll go through phases where he’ll poop in the house a couple of times and then get over it, but he really needs a very strict routine. He does not like any kind of change and I am coming to realize that means the same schedule every single day. I think all this snow and bad weather that’s curtailed out daily 2 mile walk has him out of sorts.
