We’re babysitting Gene’s sister’s dog this week while they’re in Texas. Little Buddy is not pleased at all to have a young energetic interloper bothering him when he’s trying to nap. He works hard in order to do a good job napping and just doesn’t have the energy or time to keep snapping at her when he’s interrupted.

I swear Melody, that Sinbad of yours has the most expressive face I’ve ever seen on a dog. Happy Thanksgiving tot he McFarland-Carpenter household!

He is certainly able to communicate well with that little mug. Things got a little ugly yesterday over Sophie’s food – he took possession of her crate and the spilled food inside it. I wish I’d had a camera in hand at that moment to capture him as a snarling beast.

It’s looking like we’re going to have a dog-themed christmas card this year because my shots from Longwood Gardens were losers.
